Our hospital is fully equipped to provide prompt diagnostic and therapeutic services to provide the best care for your pet's healthcare needs from puppy and kitten through end of life care. 
Radiology Services:
Our on-site, digital X-ray equipment allows us to quickly take high quality radiographs to aid in the timely diagnosis of many disorders and injuries. We also provide x-ray services to other vet hospitals in the area. 
Ultrasound:
Another high quality, on-site service offered at Bayview. We often handle other local need for ultrasound service for other vet hospitals in the Bay County area. 
Laboratory:
Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
Surgical Services: 
Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures.
Dentistry: 
Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.
Laser Therapy: 
Our laser therapy can be very helpful and productive in treating  acute and chronic injuries, sprains and strains, skin infection and inflammation, arthritis and joint issues, swelling due to back disc problems, and muscular-skeletal abnormalities. It also helps to regenerate nerve tissue and speed tissue healing after surgery. 
Individualized Flea Control Programs:
We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.
Dietary Counseling: 
We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
Behavioral Counseling: 
We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.
Internal medicine consults: 
We offer in-hospital referrals to an internal medicine specialist who perform more specialized procedures that helps us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases.
House Calls:​
 We offer house calls for most common exams and wellness visits as well as ambulatory services for a variety of services for our previously established clients. We also provide home euthanasia as an end of journey option. Call us anytime for more details or to schedule a home visit.
Boarding: 
We provide pet boarding for our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Friday or at 5:00 PM on Sunday.
Emergency Care:
We offer limited daily walk in appointments for emergency care. Please call our office for instructions during office hours or reach out to us on Facebook or our Contact Us message box after hours.
Professional Grooming: 
 We now have a grooming facility next door, Bayview Grooming, that is open Monday through Friday to provide a professional grooming option for our clients. See the Grooming link listed at the top of the page

Bathing:  
Routine and therapeutic bathing services are available.
Nail Trims:
We offer nail trims with clips or with our hand rotary polisher. For nippy pets we might utilize a soft muzzle for everyone's safety.
International Pet Travel Paperwork:
 Dr. McKnight is a USDA certified veterinarian that can provide the services and documentation needed for pets to travel abroad. Call us for more details.
Microchips and Permanent Identification: 
We can scan for previous microchips and also offer microchip identification.
Pharmacy:  
We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.
Anesthesia: 
We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.
